Portia is a wonderful sweet dog! She is 2 1/2 years old now, and we rescued her from a dog shelter in CT just 1 year ago May. She was found as a stray, very thin and apparently neglected. She had already been used to breed a litter and was unwanted. Since then she has become a very happy girl. She is now a registered Therapy Dog and we take her to my mother in law's nursing home for regular visits. Everyone loves her (staff and patients)! We are amazed at how athletic she is and she can be such a goofball. She plays with her brother Willy, a Kerry Blue Terrier and they love to run and chase each other in the yard.
