I adopted my Lizzie from poodle rescue on July 6, 2005. Life with Lizzie
has been WONDERFUL !!!!. She has brought so much joy into my life. I look
forward to waking up every morning to those little black eyes looking
at me and reminding me to stretch before I get out of bed. My Lizzie never
ceases to amaze me and she makes me laugh at least a few times a day.
I am so grateful to Lizzie's foster mom and home visitor, Celeste and
Regina, for choosing me to be Lizzie's mom. Wherever Lizzie goes, she
makes people smile and laugh. I feel blessed to have been given this little
girl to love and care for and am so grateful for everyday that I have
with Lizzie. Thank you to all the volunteers that do all that they do
for this lovely breed. (03/08)

Tucker came into our lives when we were having a very difficult time with the loss of our baby. When we first saw his photo we knew it was more than just a coincidence that he looked so similar to our little guy. Every day he surprises us with something else that reminds us of him. He has helped to brighten our days and fill that empty spot. He is sometimes jealous of his brother but is beginning to bond with him, even eating together, and loves his little sister. (10/07)

L to R: Sadie, Sarah, and Lilah enjoy the view from their dog-yard in
their forever home. They join their rescued Bichon siblings, Tucker, Zoe,
and Sassy. They are providing enormous enjoyment - and a little bit of
work - to their forever parents, Ed and Marsha.
This is Sasha, a young lady who has found her home with Frayda and Bo
(a venerable Pekingese). After only a few days she laid claim to a certain
chair as well as to her new mom's heart. (07/07)
Sabrina (formerly known as Serina) went to her forever home in March of last year. She (on the left) and her new mom, Connie, and sister, Allie stopped by PRNE's booth at Paws In The Park to remind everyone how happy they all are. Sabrina's new life is a far cry from the one she had in the shelter in Boston. She is loved and treasured, happy and safe, and continues to enjoy her new home. (06/07)

Cody came to us like an angel sent from Heaven, lifting our saddened hearts and filling them with joy. We had just lost our special Maltese, Daisy, after a long illness and we were overwhelmed with grief. Cody was also experiencing a loss and many transitions, but when he visited our home it was love at first sight. Cody is a wonderful, loving, special little dog who brings joy to our hearts each and every day. And somewhere in Heaven his first owner finds comfort in knowing he will forever be in the arms of someone who cherishes and loves him. Maybe, she has even met our little Daisy, somewhere up there among the angels, wagging her tail and giving kisses to everyone she meets. (12/06) |

Hi. My name is Alix (formerly Sir Ritz) and I am 10 years old. I found my forever home with Bob and Nan in 2004. I now live by the ocean and love my walks by the water and on the beach. They say my gentle and loving personality is only surpassed by my handsomeness. Now I'm going to help other poodles who need a home by supporting Jack's Guest House. Together we can make sure poodles like me have a safe haven while they wait for their forever home with a new family. (11/06) |
