MORE DOGS WHO NEED HOMES BULLETIN BOARD

Every day, dogs are given up to city pounds, A.S.P.C.A kennels, and various other shelters and rescue agencies. There are also dogs that need new homes but their present owners do not want to go through an agency. The dogs listed below are being placed by their owners directly from their current homes.
Important: The dogs on this page are not part of the Poodle Rescue of New England (PRNE) program. Poodle Rescue has no knowledge of their health or temperament. Please read the PRNE Disclaimer for more information.

Meet Nick!

Nick is an 11 year old toy poodle. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with vaccines. Recently, he also had a dental and had all his teeth cleaned. Nick is a sweet and friendly dog who gets along with other dogs. He loves everyone and is affectionate. We are recommending that Nick goes to an adult-only home or one with older children since he will guard his food and treats. Since Nick is older, he has some orthopedic issues. He has a curvature of the spine and low-grade medially luxating patellas. Considering his age and his good ability to get around, surgery would not be in his best interest at this point. Please consider opening your home to this sweet older gentleman ? he would love to meet you!

Nick is at the Adoption Center at the Dedham Animal Rescue League, located at
55 Anna's Place Dedham, Ma 02026. The Phone number is 781-326-0720 and the hours to see him are Tues. through Friday from 1-6:30 p.m. or Sat. and Sun from 12-5:30 p.m.

Please give this senior gentleman a chance!

BUDDY AND ROSE

Buddy & Rose need a new home.

Buddy is a big (70 lb) lovable black poodle. Although he just turned 9, he still thinks he is a puppy. Buddy is in good health and great spirits. He loves to run so a fenced in yard is great. He lives with Rose and lets her be in charge.

Rose is a beautiful apricot little lady. She is 8 years, 45 lbs and loves attention. She is a Houdini. She opens cupboard doors, just because she can. She requires a second lock at the kennel because she will open the door and go visiting with the other dogs. She lives with Buddy & knows she is in charge.

MAGGIE AND SPIKE

Mother and son poodles, Maggie and Spike, are looking for a new home.

Maggie is 7 years old and in good health. She is crate trained and about 10 pounds. She is good with everyone, although I am not sure how she is with children. Spike is 5 years old and in good health also. He is crate trained and weighs about 13 pounds.

Their owner passed away in June and I am looking for a loving home for them, preferably together. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Lornna at 617-479-7100 or 781-331-8560 or e-mail arrks@cs.com.
